Women's Self Defense Seminar

A Personal Protection and Situation Awareness Seminar for women will be given at 7:00 pm on Thursday June 7th at the Denville Public Library. This seminar will cover basic self defense techniques, observation and report, situational awareness and avoidance. The class is to provide a basis for immediate ideas and techniques, to boost self confidence and to make you less of a target for possible attack. Taken the class before? Come and refresh your skills!

Story Time and Support

Mom's with little ones newborn to age 5 come by the library meeting room  for some stories, simple crafts and to spend some time talking to other local mom's. Bring concerns, questions or some of those hilarious stories that only mom's have! Light snacks will be provided.

Local bonsai hobbyist, Michael Markoff presents The Art of Bonsai, a presentation explaining the origins and concepts of this ancient Japanese discipline, and includes the initial designing of a bonsai tree starting with a common garden juniper.
