Looking to spruce up your house for spring!? Join local interior designer, Joyce Lahmidi, who will discuss her unique philosophy on interior design! She will describe ten steps to follow and will go through them to help you simplify the interior design process and get the look you want.  She will discuss basic design principles including color, balance, form, layout, traffic patterns and scale to help you make sense of the process.

Patricia Sanfter of Marymount Manhattan College will offer a demonstration lecture taking you through the ups and downs of the highest styles of the 18th century.  From the courtiers of the Sun King, to the American patriot, the developments of fashion tell much about the revolutionary times they lived through.

Women's Self Defense Class

A Personal Protection and Situation Awareness Seminar for women will be given at 7:00 pm on Thursday November 3rd at the Denville Public Library. This seminar will cover basic self defense techniques, observation and report, situational awareness and avoidance. The class is to provide a basis for immediate ideas and techniques, to boost self confidence and to make you less of a target for possible attack.
