Please come to the Library's Theatre on Saturday, April 27th, at 2:30 pm for our Saturday Afternoon Movie. This time, we will be showing Hotel Transylvania (rated PG). In this computer-animated movie, Dracula operates a fancy resort for monsters. When an ordinary young man visits the hotel, Dracula worries that his daughter Mavis will fall in love with him! This is a very funny, slightly spooky movie that is great for the whole family. Popcorn will be served! No registration required.
Yoga instructor Rachael Welz will be here on Thursday, May 2nd at 10:00 am for Yoga Storytime. Children ages 2 through 6 can stretch, learn various yoga poses, and hear fun stories. Namaste!
Reading aloud boosts confidence -- especially for shy or reluctant readers -- and improves reading skills for all children. The Denville Library is excited to host registered therapy dogs Clover, Randall, and Zoe on Saturday, May 4th from 11:00 am to Noon. Children in grades K-5 will find that Clover, Randall, and Zoe are patient, non-judgmental listeners. Reading to a dog is great practice for reading aloud in class at school. Have your child bring books from home or feel free to read one (or more!) of ours.
Because the first session was such a hit, Morristown's South Street Dance School will be back for another Preschool Mini-Musical Theatre Workshop on Tuesday, May 7th, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. This session is open to children ages 3 to 5, who will learn singing, dancing, and acting. The kids will even perform at the end! The first session filled up quickly, so please register below as soon as possible. Get ready to sing and dance!
