Looking for something to keep the little ones engaged and entertained? Look no further! Teacher Lara Rouillard will join us on Thursday, March 13th at 10:45 am for Circle Time. Ms. Lara will lead children ages 2 and up in sign language, songs, stories, and movement.
Studies show that sign language helps young children improve their communication skills, increase their cognitive abilities, and develop closer bonds with the people with whom they sign. Ohm Kids Yoga
Spring into fitness! Yoga and young people go perfectly together. Yoga helps teach kids balance, breathing, inner stillness, and harmony. (You can read more here!)
Instructor Rachael Welz -- Ms. Rachael from our toddler yoga storytime sessions -- is bringing after school yoga to the Denville Library, and we are so excited! Afternoon Book Connection: Magic Tree House Book Club
For independent readers ages 6 and up, we are continuing with our Afternoon Book Connection: Magic Tree House. We are reading a A Perfect Time for Pandas.
Our next session will be held on Wednesday, March 19th at 4:30 pm. As always, we'll read aloud, do book-related activities, and work on enhancing our literacy skills, word recognition, and vocabulary. Plus, we'll have snacks!

Drop-In Craft: Bird's Nest!
Spring is *almost* here. We can't wait! To get us into a springtime mood, we are hosting a Saturday morning Drop-In Craft for ages 3 and up on Saturday, March 22nd from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Children will be making their very own bird's nests. So cute! This craft is great practice for matching colors and developing fine motor skills.

Evening Storytime: Cupcakes!
It's been so long since we had an evening storytime session. This has been a rough winter with all the snow!
We are back with our first Evening Storytime of the spring, and we'll be reading books about one of our favorite things ... cupcakes! Yum! Children ages 3 and up, please join us on Monday, March 24th at 6:30 pm for stories, songs, rhymes, and a super cool cupcake craft (hint: it involves a lot of frosting!). Please feel free to attend in your PJs!

Crafts for Kids: Circus!
No stories, no songs, no fingerplays, no dancing ... so what's left? How about a really cool craft! Children ages 2 and up, please join us on Wednesday, March 26th at 10:30 am for Crafts for Kids: Circus. We will be using pom poms, yarn, puffy paint, colored sand, and more to make a pretty awesome circus craft. We'll get lots of practice for our fine motor skills along with sensory learning and tactile fun!
