We are full. Thank you!

Are you ready for music, magic, puppets, and lots of fun? We are, too!

Marcia the Musical Moose, a super-fun, super-engaging children's entertainer who has performed at schools and libraries throughout the Northeast, will be visiting us with her Magical Forest show. We are so excited!

This show is all ages -- but probably best suited for ages 2 through 7 -- and will be held on Saturday, February 28th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Ready to join us? Yay! Please sign up by clicking here or on the flyer below!

Pottery for Kids

The 2:00 pm session AND the 3:00 pm session are now full. Thank you!

Have you ever "thrown" clay on a pottery wheel? Do you want to try? We bet you do!

Local pottery instructor Mary Anzano returns to the Denville Library on Saturday, February 28th for Pottery for Kids (ages 7 and up). Ms. Anzano brings a pottery wheel, clay, and years of experience to our library to help you make some neat pottery projects. We'll be using no-fire clay, so you can take home what you make! We'll also have modeling clay available for hand-created projects.

Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting a bit messy. We can't wait to see your creations!

Yoga Storytime

We love yoga ... and you do, too!

Ms. Michele's next session of Yoga Storytime will be held on Thursday, March 5th at 10:00 amChildren ages 2 and up are welcome to come hear stories, stretch, and practice yoga poses. Please register by clicking here or on the flyer below. Namaste!

Sensory and Movement Storytime

Our next session of Sensory and Movement Storytime for Kids with Special Needs (for children with physical, developmental, medical, emotional, and/or learning-based special needs) will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 10:00 am.

If your child needs some time to become acclimated to our setting, please feel free to come at 9:45 am.

This program precedes our Read to a Dog program at 11:00 am, in which certified therapy dogs come to the library. Rusty, one of our therapy dogs, will be available around 10:40 am specifically for the Sensory and Movement Storytime, so as to accommodate children who may be more comfortable in a smaller group. All children are welcome to stay for the 11:00 am session.

Please register by clicking here or on the flyer below. We can't wait to see you!

Read to a Dog!

Keep reading with our therapy dogs! Meet Clover, Omega, Rusty, and Janie -- Turner and Zoe are on vacation this month -- at Read to a Dog on Saturday, March 7th from 11:00 am to Noon. This program is open to ALL ages and reading abilities, both readers and pre-readers.

Reading aloud to non-judgmental listeners (like dogs!) boosts confidence and improves reading and recitation skills. Moreover, reading together helps to reinforce letter recognition and vocabulary, and it creates a stronger bond with books. It's also a lot of fun! Don't believe us? Check out these great photos from our February session.

Ready to sign up? Cool! Please register by clicking here or on the flyer below. Woof!
