Thanks to everyone who came out to our December session and listened to stories and sang. We had so much fun! Please join us for our next Sensory and Movement Storytime for Kids with Special Needs (for children with physical, developmental, medical, emotional, and/or learning-based special needs) on Saturday, January 4th at 10:00 am.
Please note that we are starting earlier this session so we have more of an opportunity for play after the stories. If your child needs some time to become acclimated to our setting, please feel free to come at 9:45 am.
This program precedes our Read to a Dog program at 11:00 am, in which certified therapy dogs come to the library. Two of our therapy dogs will be available around 10:40 am specifically for the Sensory and Movement Storytime, so as to accommodate children who may be more comfortable in a smaller group. All children are welcome to stay for the 11:00 am session.
