In November, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month, which recognizes the many contributions to American society, culture, literature, art, and science by Indigenous peoples throughout history and today.
Native American Heritage Month has been officially recognized by the federal government since President George H.W. Bush approved a joint resolution in 1990. Here are some great sites to learn more:
